 International Trade Certifications

Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition (BASC) Certification provided by LDF and supported by Customs & Border Protection (C&BP). The cost of the BASC Program is $750.00 for the first year of certification.  Thereafter, $300.00 for renewal.

 Business Development Opportunity
  • TAMIU’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) services and training. SBDC offers counseling, technical assistance, training seminars & workshops, advocacy, research studies, resource information and coordination with the U.S. Small Business Administration. 
  • Technical assistance in the area of business and international trade development and expansion provided by LDF, TAMIU, SBA, and the State of Texas.
  • Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and Tax Abatement technical assistance in coordination with the City of Laredo and LDF.
  • Business and Trade Missions in the U.S. and Mexico targeting trade corridor opportunities at the regional and national levels.
  • City of Laredo/Webb County Advocacy Missions in Austin, Texas and Washington, D.C.

LDF receives 1,200 visits or more per month on our website.  Your business will benefit from linking with our website.  As an institutional and corporate member, your business is entitled to place your company’s logo and business contact information on our website directory.  In addition, a hyperlink will be available to connect directly to your company website.

Upon request, Platinum website sponsorships are available for the LDF home page at a minimum cost of $100.00 per month or $75.00 per month with a minimum of a one year agreement. The platinum sponsorship premiers your company name and logo headlining in our home page.
